About this Role
We’re seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to join our growing team and drive executional excellence across paid media channels, with a primary emphasis on Search Engine Marketing (SEM). You’ll own day-to-day SEM (Google Ads + Microsoft Ads)—building and optimizing campaigns, managing feeds and tracking, and analyzing performance—while contributing to Paid Social and Programmatic. You’ll be a key contributor in building and optimizing campaigns, analyzing data, and supporting the strategic leads across Performance and Content.
This role is a great fit for someone who’s comfortable navigating a fast-paced remote environment. You enjoy building structure, taking initiative, and working independently to find solutions. While support is always available, we value team members who can confidently move projects forward and bring clarity to complex challenges. You’ll partner closely with leads across digital, content, and creative to drive results.
We work primarily in golf, real estate, and adjacent industries—so an interest in lifestyle, sports, or premium brand categories is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Own SEM planning and execution for assigned accounts
- Build, manage, and scale Search, Shopping, and Performance Max (including Asset Groups, audience signals, creative, and feed strategy)
- Structure brand vs. non-brand, query mapping and negatives, ad testing, and bid strategies (tROAS/tCPA)
- Manage Merchant Center/feed hygiene and Local Services Ads if and where applicable
- Build, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across channels (SEM, Paid Social, Programmatic)
- Analyze campaign performance and deliver clear insights with data visualizations (Looker Studio, Google Analytics, platform dashboards)
- Implement tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and conversion goals across platforms and websites using GTM.
- Partner with the Creative and Content teams to guide asset needs and ensure channel-fit creative
- Collaborate to conduct audits, test new media strategies, and troubleshoot campaign issues
- Contribute to new business proposals, RFPs, and integrated marketing plans
- Help develop standardized dashboards and internal processes for tracking performance across accounts
- Anticipate platform changes, industry benchmarks, and emerging tools to keep us ahead of the curve
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in paid media buying (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, programmatic DSPs)
- Proficiency with Shopping/PMax, audience strategies in search, query management/negatives, ad testing, and bid automation (tROAS/tCPA)
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio, and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with tag management and tracking implementation (GTM a plus)
- Merchant Center/feed management experience preferred
- Familiarity with SEO, email, or influencer marketing is a plus, but not required
- Passion for performance, data, and driving measurable business outcomes
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to support multiple team leads and account types

- Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms or CRMs
- Exposure or experience working with lifestyle, sports, real estate, or golf brands

Anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 – $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
