  • Storyboarding
  • On-location producing and directing
  • Post-production logging, writing, and collaborating with editors on various video projects.

We are looking for a highly collaborative individual who enjoys new challenges and is passionate about storytelling and video production.

You will work in conjunction with other producers and our post-production team under our Director of Production to create high-end video products for our clients.

The ideal candidate will bring a fresh eye to Oswego’s diverse projects and keep it at the forefront of video production.

The ability to travel consistently, and sometimes at a moment’s notice, is a non-negotiable requirement.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Highly organized and has a flexible, open approach to work and collaboration with a creative spirit and a “Can Do” attitude.
  • Is open, willing, and available for travel within the United States consistently and sometimes with little lead time. Travel is a non-negotiatable aspect of the position, though in-office work is required when not traveling for a project.
  • Communicative, with a straightforward approach to the projects you’re directed to complete.
  • Pre-produce an idea into a production plan, create and manage call sheets, and schedule and coordinate crew.
  • Conduct documentary interviews thoughtfully and skillfully.
  • Log videos, write scripts, and have a vision for the piece’s feel, emotion, and central message.
  • Willing to work toward the company’s collective goals and bring a skill set that can help us be more successful; team player; easy-going; adaptable to client demands/needs/wishes; and most importantly, a demeanor of a seasoned professional.

Primarily, the applicant would report directly to the Director of Production and indirectly to the President.

  • Minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
  • Experience working closely with DPs and still photographers on-location; being able to think quickly and act decisively
  • Can effectively take an idea to a polished finished piece; video-specific writing abilities are a must-have, as is an eye for the right shot for the right spot in a piece.
  • Manage a crew on location in terms of communication with the internal team and external client reps.

This is a salaried position with health benefits and a 401(k) plan. Anticipated salary range for this role is $65,000 – $75,000 per year, commensurate with industry experience.
